The Photo Contest is open now through August 31, 2023. Photographers of all ages and skill levels, from amateurs to professionals, are invited to participate. Winners will receive cash prizes and their photos will appear in the 2024 Calhoun County Calendar and the Calhoun County Life Magazine, as well as be used featured in future marketing and promotional material for Port Lavaca and Calhoun County.
The aim of the contest calendar and magazine is to highlight the people, beauty and hidden gems found in Calhoun County.
This summer, we call on anyone with a camera to share your view of Calhoun County. We are looking for original photography that captures the faces, wildlife, landscape and critters that can be found visiting or calling Calhoun County home. Entering is easy! Photos can be submitted online in just a few minutes.
